This restaurant has been in the works for the last couple of months and now it’s finally opening. Harry’s Pizzeria comes to use from chef Michael Schwartz. The restaurant is named after his son Harry!
The menu will feature 10 pizzas made from the same great recipe as the ones you’re used to from down the block, along with a various snacks, including polenta fries, house-ground meatballs, and Michael’s homemade ricotta, and a selection of salads.
Some of the pies include the Slow Roasted Pork, the rock shrimp, featuring grilled lemon, manchego, scallion, and cilantro. And then there’s the MGFD Bacon, featuring fingerling potatoes, cave-aged gruyere, caramelized onions, and arugula.
Even the beer list is local, featuring four draft selections from Florida. Also available is a tight selection of wine, coffee from Panther, and desserts such as the Zeppole, a fritter made from the leftover pizza dough and dipped in honey-whipped ricotta.
