Casa d’Angelo has restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and at the Atlantis Hotel in Paradise Island.
The man behind those restaurants has opened D’Angelo Trattoria in Delray.
D’Angelo Trattoria features traditional Roman cuisine including appetizers, salads, carpacci, pastas, prime meats, seafood and pizzas from a wood-burning oven. Executive Chef Rickie Piper is the one in charge at D’Angelo Trattoria. The desserts change on a daily basis and include baba, which is a rich sponge cake soaked in liquor syrup, and delizia al limone, which is a light Limoncello-filled cake with cream topping.
Chef Angelo Elia plans to open a pastry shop and gelateria next to D’Angelo Trattoria in the near future.
