Cheap #eeeeats: LA Edition

Los Angeles is most commonly known as the City of Angels, but it’s also a great city for cheap dining. LA has something for everyone, from some of the best tacos in the United States to some of the best ramen on the West Coast. In Los Angeles, you can always find an exciting place to find affordable, cheap dishes.

Here are my top three favorite cheap #eeeeats in LA:

Belcampo Meat Co.

BelcampoIf you are in the mood for a quick, great, cheap burger look no further than Belcampo Meat Co. Belcampo is located in the Grand Central Market in Downtown LA and their $5 ‘FastBurger’ features a 3 oz. grass-fed beef patty, American cheese, house sauce, lettuce, tomato and onion. I suggest you buy two of them and make your stomach very happy. [Photo: Belcampo]

Cerveteca Culver

CervetecaIf tacos and tortas are your thing, Cerveteca is your one-stop shop — and they’re open late. Located in downtown Culver City right off of Venice Blvd., Cerveteca offers a great late night menu with high quality ingredients. Fresh bread, bomb tacos and tortas… everything tastes just as good during the day as after a late night exploring LA. Plus, nothing on the menu is over $10! You’ll definitely want to get to Cerveteca during your trip to Los Angeles. [Photo: Facebook]

Jinya Ramen Bar

JinyaIf it’s ramen you’re craving, you won’t find better or cheaper than at Jinya. Jinya has locations all over LA and a menu boasting a long list of authentic Japanese ramen dishes for every palette. You can feast on a bowl of ‘Tonkotsu Black’ with pork broth, green onion, and seasoned egg or the ‘Spicy Chicken Ramen’ with spinach, spicy bean sprouts, and green onion — each just $10.80. Jinya also lets you turn up the flavor by choosing either mild, spicy or hot broth. There is nothing more fulfilling than some darn good ramen, especially when it’s just ten bucks a bowl.
