Who doesn’t love pizza? I mean if you don’t, we can’t be friends 😂 Just kidding!
One of my favorite pizza spots in Miami is Lucali.
One of the co-founder’s of Lucali, Dominic Cavagnuolo recently opened DC Pie Co. in Brickell. I no longer have to travel to South Beach to enjoy my favorite slice in town.
DC Pie Co. has a simple menu with the same pizza recipes that Lucali serves. The difference between the two is the size of the pies and the prices. A small 11-inch pizza costs $11, and a 15-inch costs $15. Of course, you can add your favorite toppings for an additional charge.
The menu also includes salads such as my favorite the Kale Caesar, along with the Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Pepperoni Chips and much more. Desserts include their famous Nutella pie, Mini Cannolis and a Berry and Ricotta Calzone.
DC Pie Co. also has a bar attached to the back of it called Dom’s. Dom’s has a large menu of spritz drinks, wines, beer, and cocktails.
DC Pie Co. will also be opening a second location in South Beach sometime later this year.
If you haven’t been to La Petite Maison Miami, their new executive lunch is the perfect time for you to go experience it for yourself.
Dejeuner D’affaires, a new executive lunch menu, is available at La Petite Maison Miami Monday through Friday from 12 to 2:30p for just $29++ per person.
The menu includes items like Petits Farcis Niçois, veal stuffed Mediterranean vegetables; Saumon Finement Tranché, salmon carpaccio with guacamole; and Ratatouille et Feta, Mediterranean vegetables marinated in olive oil with feta.
For the main course diners can enjoy Gnocchi à la Tomate Fraîche, gnocchi with cherry tomato, garlic and parmesan; Poisson en Croûte de Sel de Guérande, salt baked redfish fillet with artichokes and tomatoes; Coquelet au Citron Confit, roasted baby chicken marinated in lemon.
While the lunch menu doesn’t include dessert, dessert is a must at La Petite Maison. My favorite is the cheesecake. It’s unlike any cheesecake you’ve ever had and is truly not to be missed.

If you haven’t been to Aventura Mall lately, it’s become a food hot spot. It is officially a destination for everyone who loves food. Joining restaurants like Shake Shack, Tap 42, Poke 305, Genuine Pizza, Pubbelly Sushi and more is the latest edition to Aventura Mall’s new wing, International Smoke.
International Smoke is a collaboration between Ayesha Curry and Chef Michael Mina. The inspiration for International Smoke came from their discovery that the word “Barbecue” has different culinary interpretations internationally.
At International Smoke, they try to re-create that special feeling reminiscent of a backyard barbecue, where you get to experience a variety of different flavors and cultures with family and friends. With locations in San Francisco, San Diego and Houston, International Smoke is a welcome addition to Miami at the Aventura Mall.
On the menu at International Smoke, you could find Smoked St. Louis Cut Pork Ribs, Smoked Burrata, Bone-In Short Rib, Smoked Salmon and more. One thing you will find a lot of at International Smoke is smoke. Not just smoke to add flair to a dish, but smoke to give it that international taste and a special final touch.
I would definitely give International Smoke a try. You and your stomach will be very satisfied with the results.
So it’s not often, I talk about Cuban food on the blog. So when I do, you know it has to be good.
Sanguich de Miami is here to become your new obsession. As you have probably seen on my Instagram account, I am obsessed with Sanguich. It has officially become one of my favorite places in Miami.
The Cuban sandwich is a Miami staple and sure you could get a Cuban sandwich anywhere in this city, but nothing like the one at Sanguich de Miami. Maybe it’s the house cured ham or the house made pickles, but to truly understand what I mean, you have to go and try it for yourself.
Not only is the Cuban sandwich, my favorite Cuban in the city, but the other sandwiches on the menu are just as amazing. The Media Noche is incredible, followed by the Pan Con Bistec and I cannot forget the Pan Con Lechon.
Wash all those sandwiches down with a Cuban shake, some croquettas or even a nice Colada.
