Last year, there was plans for a Gigi to open on South Beach.
This wasn’t going to be just a normal Gigi, but it was going to be called “Gigi Village.”
Seems like that isn’t the plan anymore, according to our friends over at Short Order.
Restaurateur Amir Ben-Zion has scrapped the project and now a new mystery restaurant will take it’s place called “Cooper Avenue.”
Cooper Avenue will still be at 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue on South Beach.
We don’t seem to have any information on the restaurant, but from the logo it seems like there is a bar, bakery, market, lounge, and restaurant involved in the whole affair.
Stay tuned for the latest updates. Regardless, it sounds awesome!
