BrickellHouse is set to break ground in the middle of 2012, to be completed in 2014, but that isn’t stopping one South Florida restaurant from announcing it will be opening a restaurant there.. or are they?
Meat Market is apparently looking to open it’s restaurant at the BrickellHouse.
Earlier today, BrickellHouse released a press release saying, “Among the earliest retail tenants is Meat Market Steakhouse, which will debut its first mainland Miami location at BrickellHouse following its successful flagship restaurant along Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.”
But apparently our friends over at Short Order have confirmed:
A representative for Meat Market, however, said there there is no done deal. Meat Market co-owners David Tornek and chef Sean Brasel are currently “in talks” with BrickellHouse, as well as looking at other places in Miami for a possible expansion to the mainland.
BrickellHouse is a 46-story, $170 million project, located at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive, which will have several retail establishments and restaurants.
