Michael Schwartz has finally given us an update on his new restaurant The Cypress Room.
The Cypress Room is slated to open sometime in early 2013 and running the kitchen is chef Roel Alcudia. Alcudia is from New York, where he was chef de cuisine at Barbuto in the Meatpacking district.
Michael Schwartz is also working on his project at The Raleigh, which will still be honored after it was bought out in early January by W South Beach’s David Edelstein and Sam Nazarian of the SLS Hotel’s sbe Group.
Once we have The Cypress Room’s opening date, we will let you know.
