One of the most anticipated ice cream shop openings in the history of ice cream shops is finally happening.
Salt & Straw will be opening up their Wynwood location later this month and their Coconut Grove location in February.
Salt & Straw’s co-founder and Head Ice Cream Maker, Tyler Malek, will create a locally sourced menu that reflects the flavors of Miami by using local ingredients.
Salt & Straw’s scoop shops will feature all the classics and seasonal ice creams, along with new flavors rotating monthly. The classics include Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, Honey Lavender, Chocolate Gooey Brownie and Salted and Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
The unique Miami flavors will include Panther Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches, Panther espresso steeped two ways with a tres leches cake swirl made with cocoa, dark chocolate, and coconut-infused añejo rum from Coconut Cartel; The Salty Donut Guava + Cheese, Cream cheese ice cream, glazed brioche donut chunks, rich Florida guava curd, and puffed pastry streusel; Wynwood Brewing Mango Habanero, Hop-heavy Laces IPA from Wynwood Brewing mixed with a load of fresh habaneros and cooled off with Florida mangos and citrus; Exquisito Chocolates Hazelnut Cookies & Cream, Chocolate and coconut cream ice cream with hazelnut butter, Exquisito Chocolate Stracciatella, and tender homemade vegan, gluten-free Oreo cookie crumbs.
Salt & Straw Wynwood will be located at 240 NW 25 Street and Salt & Straw Coconut Grove will be located at 3015 Grand Avenue.
