The Delano Opening Bianca on January 27

The Delano on South Beach closed up Blue Door a couple months back.

Now they are ready to open Bianca, right where Blue Door left off. Bianca will be opening to the public on January 27th.

Bianca and the other “new” Delano dining options are now run by Las Vegas nightlife kings The Light Group.

Brian Massie will be Bianca’s executive chef.

Bianca is set to be “an inventive Italian menu featuring local, farm-‐to-‐table organic ingredients and will participate in the Slow Food movement.” Some of the signature menu items include “imported Langoustines” that are wood grilled and seasoned with Amalfi lemons; truffle agnolotti made with fresh Peidmonte truffles and NY sirloin.

I had an invite to the new Delano restaurant Bianca pre-Grand Opening party Thursday night and even though I was confirmed, the ladies at the door did not let me in, even though I received a confirmation email. This is a bad PR move, HUGE mistake on their part and I am owed at the very least an apology. I wasted my time, money and stress to make it there only to be turned down. I will never forget my humiliating experience that night.

BIANCA is a must avoid!! Don’t worry you didn’t miss anything but a horrible meal and the worst service of your life. Be glad your night ended at the door because it only gets worse from there. Waiter was awful so bad I complained to general manager who was also awful. Food was small portion and way over priced for less then chef quality food felt like chain restaurant food. Took me over an hour just to get the check and end the nightmare. I would never go back and I’ll have nothing good to say about this place ever!! I even dislike the Delano as a result and I used to love it
