The people behind one of our favorite Miami restaurants, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, are at it again.
50 Eggs have announced their next project : Swine Southern Table & Bar.
Swine is set to open in Coral Gables in the fall of 2012. Top Chef alum, chef Kenny Gilbert from Season 7 will run the kitchen.
Swine will focus on pork. The menu will feature heritage breed hogs and fresh local ingredients. Swine will also focus on detailed drink program featuring a bourbon program, culinary-driven cocktails, and a choice selection of craft beers.
CEO of 50 Eggs, John Kunkel compared Swine to Yardbird: “We had an abundance of great ideas when we were opening Yardbird, but we wanted to focus on poultry. Swine will feature all of the great ideas we’ve had for the meat side of things.”
When Swine does open, they plan to be open for dinner, lunch and Sunday brunch.
