The South Beach Wine and Food Festival is right around the corner. It is like the Super Bowl of food events for food fans all over the world.

The list of events that happen during this three day festival is long and most events are already sold out. Well don’t worry, we have narrowed down the top 5 not to be missed events that aren’t sold out yet. You have to act fast on these events though because they are bound to sell out as we get closer to the event.

Italian Al Fresco on the Beach
When: Thursday, February 19 from 7-10 p.m.
Where: Beachside at the Delano
Details: When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie . . . and pasta, meatballs, arancini, charcuterie, and so much more! We’re kicking off this year’s SOBEWFF in unprecedented fashion with Ronzoni’s 100th Birthday bash. Hosted by Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos, the king and queen of all things Italian from Cooking Channel, this al fresco feast on the sand will showcase more than 30 chefs serving up mouth-watering fare behind the Delano Hotel. Fall in love all over again with your favorite Italian-American dishes – whether its white sauce, red sauce, perfectly aged Parmigiano-Reggiano, broccoli rabe, or any number of specially crafted pastas. You’ll savor your way through an abundance of both classic and modern twists while sipping on wines from Folonari Amore Italia. Leave it to SOBEWFF to show you true amore under the stars!

Meatopia: The Q Revolution
When: Saturday, February 21 from 7-10 p.m.
Where: Beachside at the Delano
Details: SOBEWFF’s The Q, our beloved signature celebration of all things grilled, braised and barbecued, has evolved! And there’s only one name who could lead the charge on a revolution this big – chef, restaurateur, author, and Food Network rockstar Guy Fieri! We’ve collaborated with James Beard Award-winning Esquire writer, and Miami native, Josh Ozersky to bring you Meatopia: The Q Revolution at SOBEWFF 2015. Meatopia already has a reputation as the world’s most famous meat festival, where some of the greatest chefs cook every part of the animal over open fires, and we’re thrilled to make it a part of SOBEWFF! Sip on an incredible array of bourbons like Knob Creek, Basil Hayden, Jim Beam and Makers Mark, and enjoy a special musical performance as Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino presents the Blues Traveler live on stage

Grand Tasting Village
When: Saturday, February 21 noon -5 p.m., Sunday, February 22 noon – 5 p.m.
Where: Grand Tasting Village, 13th Street and Ocean Drive
Details: New for 2015, guests can enjoy the WHOLE venue from 12-5 pm and take a refreshing stroll through an unending array of scents and tastes in the MasterCard Grand Tasting Tents while celebrating all areas of Miami as participating restaurants will be grouped together in culinary quadrants led by their respective culinary captain, representing distinct districts across South Florida — from South Miami and Coral Gables to Brickell, Wynwood, SOBE and on into Ft. Lauderdale. Fans will also notice a new layout this year with more places to relax and enjoy this grand experience — whether it’s with a cocktail under the shade or your hips swaying to beat of live music and/or DJs throughout the day. For the third year, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite dishes and decide which restaurant will win the Miami New Times’ “Short Order’s Best Bite on the Beach” award.

Death By Chocolate

Details: Tantalize your sweet tooth at this one-of-a-kind sexy South Beach soiree. No fauxnuts here. We’re bringing the Willy Wonka of sweets, the one and only Dominique Ansel, to South Beach for a late-night poolside party your taste buds won’t want to miss. Best known for his creation of the Cronut (™) in 2013, the cookie shot and more recent pretzel ‘Lobster Tail’ that followed, Ansel’s flair for the dramatic and delicious is sure to please your palate. Ansel is the widely regarded French pastry chef and owner behind Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City and recently released his first cookbook, DOMINIQUE ANSEL: The Secret Recipes

Thrillist’s Barbecue & The Blues

Details: Celebrating its 6th straight year at The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE, Thrillist will once again highlight the best meaty goodness and soulful tunes Miami has to offer at Thrillist’s Barbecue & The Blues. Hosted by celebrity chef Anne Burrell, the event will feature custom-crafted BBQ creations from 12 chefs hand-picked by Thrillist, fully stocked bars featuring entwine wine, custom cocktails, craft beers by B.R.E.W. FIU, and musical performances DJ Haitian Hillbilly and Diablo Dimes & the Bloodhounds.
